Grand Konia is a US based non-profit organization founded in 2000 by immigrants from the mano-river union member countries of Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Cote d'Ivoire in West Africa. As the region is one of the world's poorest, Grand Konia Organization's mission is propelled by a sense of urgency and interventions tailored towards supporting livelihood creation for immigrants from the four countries in particular and Africa in general. The overarching long-term objective of Grand Konia is to spur sustainable economic development and social progress among diaspora member community, as well as in the region on the continent of Africa, thus contributing to poverty and crime reduction, economic growth, cultural sustainability, and educational advancement.
